Journal Challenge Day 1: Your Zodiac Sign
First off, I definitely believe in Zodiac signs. Like 100%. They absolutely fascinate me, and I know most people think that it's just a bunch of generic bull-crap that everyone can relate to, but I don't care. My birthday is in July which makes me a Leo. I love everything about the Leo, I love that it's a fire sign, I love that its animal is a lion. The only thing I don't like is that its symbol looks like the Lulu Lemon logo... Everything about the Leo fits me, the good and the bad.
Leo's are known for being attractive and taking great pride in their appearance, the feature they cherish most is their hair. Like a lion loves its mane. I don't always take pride in my appearance, I've definitely had my fair share of late-night grocery store adventures in my jammies. Slippers and all. However, most days when I leave the house I do try to look decent, I cover my under eye circles with concealer and swipe on a little mascara. Date nights, however, I do everything I can to look my best. I'll do my nails, maybe a face mas if I really want to go all out, a full face of make-up, and a nice outfit. I don't think I'm the most attractive person in the world but I don't think I'm ugly either. It feels weird to say that, it sounds self-absorbed but it shouldn't, thinking you're beautiful should not be a bad thing! I am beautiful and whoever is reading this is also beautiful!
I can relate to a lot of the traits of a Leo too, for example they are stubborn as hell, my momma can vouch for this one. They are bossy and headstrong, oversensitive, and temperamental, and I am guilty as charged for all of it. Leos have a bit of a rep, they come off as mean or arrogant a lot. It' like a chronic bitch face but for our personality. We have good hearts though and there not much we wouldn't do for our loved ones. We're known for being strong, mentally, and physically, and being able to hold our own. Most of my friends from high school know that I would fight for them, and I did a few times. I never really cared what people said about me but if someone messed with my friends I'd kick some ass.
We are known for being leaders, guiding our packs though anything. Being the boss would be an ideal job, we don't take well to criticism or orders. Which I can vouch for, I have quit a couple jobs due to management. There's a difference between being a boss and being a dick, and a lot of people don't get that. A good way to piss off a Leo is to demand them to do something, just ask nicely and we won't have a problem.
I love that I'm a leo and I have the lion pride for sure, one day I'm going to get a lion tattoo to symbolize it. Before I date anyone I check to see if our Zodiac signs are compatible are if they're not I'm skeptical of the relationship. That's probably weird, but I do.
