Journal Challenge Day 26:10 Things That Make You Happy.
I feel like I post a lot about things I like or hobbies I enjoy, so I tried to come up with a list of things I haven't written about so far. I think I did alright, some of them have been discussed briefly before but I can go into more detail about them now.

- The smell of the air after it rains. That's totally cliche, I know, everyone loves that smell. How can you not though? Also, the smell of the air the day before it snows. I have no idea how to explain that smell, it's just crisp and clean and incredibly soothing for me.
- Forehead kisses. Is there anything cuter the forehead kisses? It doesn't matter who gives them to you either, your man, your mom, your grandpa. It's all cute. I think it makes me feel more love than any other physical interaction. It's just pure, and I love it.
- When trees are silhouetted by a sunset. I've always loved that, it's never not gonna be beautiful to me. It makes me feel like I'm in "The Lion King" or something.
- Getting mail. Not bills, or bank statements but real mail. Birthday cards and letters, an invitation to something. I want a love letter, an old school love letter signed, addressed, stamped, and mailed to me. Like the letters I've been writing to people. I got my ASU acceptance letter in the mail the other day and that definitely made me happy.
- Big hugs. The kind of hugs I used to refer to as bear hugs when I was little. The kind you give your best friend at the airport after you haven't seen her for a long time. The kind you give someone when they do something really sweet for you. The kind where you just want to be held and live in that moment for as long as it last, thinking of nothing else. The hug where you don't want to let go.
- Thrift store shopping. I LOVE thrift store shopping. I don't shop very often but when I do I go to thrift stores. I love the feel of it, I love that it's sustainable, I love giving new life to things. It's not even a money thing (I mean it kinda is because I'm not about to pay $60 for any piece of clothing) I just like it better. Both my grandma's would always take us to thrifts stores or garage sales or anything like that and it was always fun. My sister and I would just go wild there.
- Things that Challenge me, or make me think. I like learning new things, I like piecing things together, I like reading and writing challenges (Like this one) Anything that keeps my brain busy. I find it difficult to just sit and watch TV because I feel like it's not beneficial in any way. I'll watch things with other people sometimes, but I can't do it by myself it's boring.
- Planning things. Oh my god I love to plan things. I planned out a whole wedding (twice, one for a school project and one for an actual wedding that, of course, didn't happen). Planning this Love Life List was fun and still is fun. I haven't finished it yet and I keep adding things and I don't want to stop.
- Car rides with good people and good music. There are few things that make you feel happier than driving along in a car filled with close friends and you're all just jammin out to a favorite song. My mom used to burn CD's and when she finished one we would test it out. We would just drive around and listen to whatever music she put on there and it was great.
- Slow moments. Moments where you just want to stay right there, you don't want it to end or anything to change. In that moment everything is perfect, or at least you forget about all the things that aren't. When you just want 5 more minutes.
