Journal Challenge Day 27: What Is Your World View?

This one is kind of hard, I don't really have a set world view. I have a negative view of the world but that's not really my world view if that makes sense. I'm pretty pessimistic, not all the time, I don't wake up and think today is going be awful. Well sometimes I do, but everyone has those days when it's just not your day. I don't always think the worst is going to happen but I prepared myself for it just in case.
I wasn't exactly sure what my world view was so I did some online surveys and tests and shit to figure out. Not that you can really trust what the internet says, but whatever.
What I found is that a lot of worldview stuff involves religion and I'm obviously not religious. I could call myself an atheist but I feel like there's a lot of negative stigma around that so I'd rather not. I just say I don't have any religious views. I don't believe that the universe was created by a man in a cloud, that's just not logical to me. So I don't have a religious world view. I have a slightly anti-religious world view I guess. I'm open to discussing religion and learning about other religions, but I honestly think religion is just a scam. That priests and preachers are con-artists. That the church is anything but a safe haven. I don't like or agree with things that they preach and Christian people are my least favorite. If you're a full-blown, follow every word of the bible Christian, good on you. I can respect that. It's the people who pick and choose what they want to believe and discard the rest. You don't get to call yourself a Christian if you don't abide by all the Christian ways. That might be a very unpopular opinion but that's what I believe. I live in a dinky town, it's got a church on just about every corner and there are few people that don't attend. This town is not welcoming, it's judgemental, it's rude, and it's obnoxious. For a Christian town it sure doesn't feel like it. Bunch of fake Christians, the kind of people who would be kind to your face but as soon as you leave, game on. As long they say "Bless their heart" after that it's fine. Ugh, I hate it.
Now that my blood is boiling let's discuss other worldviews. Another one that I'm not thrilled to discuss is politics. I have very democratic views, a little bit liberal too. I honestly don't know much about politics, I can't vote so I don't really pay attention. I think the person leading the U.S. right now is possibly the dumbest human being on the planet. I can respect that he does what he says he's going to do (even if it's a horrible idea, at least he follows through) I can respect him as a businessman as well, good on him for being able to get himself $500,000,000,000 out of debt. I thought $40,000 was hard, I can't even imagine. As a human though I can't stand him, he's disgusting, he's disgraceful, he's a womanizer. I'm generally surprised he hasn't been shot. I'm not saying I want someone to, or that they should, or that I would, I'm just surprised it hasn't happened. The Democrats have views that I agree with like universal health care, I come from Canada where our shit is free (Except we get taxed out the ass for it) but to come here and realize that my dog can get better healthcare than I can is kinda a slap in the face. Although I'm not big on any of the democratic candidates, again don't know much about them to make an educated assumption, just going by instinct here.
My world view includes the right for women to get abortions. I personally don't think I could, just because I know what I can and can't handle. However, that might depend on the situation as well. I don't think women should use abortion as a type of birth control and keep getting them over and over again, mostly because of the toll it takes on your body. I believe in equality, which you can read about in a past post. My world view involves not trusting higher-ups, like the president, the government, and medical officials. Basically, anyone who just tells you that something is one way. Not explaining other options or exploring other ways. There's never just one way. Unless you're driving downtown Bellingham than you should probably follow the one-way signs.
I believe in being transgender, I am obviously not and I don't completely understand the process as a whole, but I strongly believe that you need to do whatever will make you happiest.
I don't know if I'm doing this prompt right, but oh well. I think kids should be taught all there is to know about sex at school. I know if my school didn't teach it I never would've learnt about it. My mom never gave me 'the talk' not that I'm upset about that. I think I'll skip that awkwardness a thousand times over. My school taught it though, which is probably one of the only things I'll actually give them props on. They handled it in an amazing way although you could tell my gym teacher felt awkward as fuck, she was also pregnant at the time so yeah. We all knew exactly how she got that way.
   What else?
Family first is a world view I definitely have. My family comes before anything. Family includes my man, my close friends, and of course my fur babies. They come before careers and school, before fun and entertainment, they come before me. most of the time, obviously I believe that sometimes you gotta put yourself first and that's okay.
I believe that people are spoonfed bullshit like medicine will heal you from everything, and these pills will help you lose weight. Shut the fuck up. I can't even begin to explain how disgusting the medical field is. Especially after working in it. Hospitals charge you tens of thousands of dollars to stay there and they can't afford decent healthy food to feed you? Please. You can solve AND prevent soooo many health problems (Within reason, obviously if you have stage 4 cancer broccoli probably won't save you but it will do more good than a burger) with healthy eating habits and a healthy lifestyle. You don't need to be a bodybuilder or a marathon runner just get moving, go for a walk, kick a ball around in a field anything is better than nothing. The same goes for food, you don't have to cut out junk food or sweets completely just use them as they were created and intended to be used. As a treat. Eat more whole foods, shop only the perimeter of the grocery store, have fruits and veggies with every meal and eat less meat. Stop waiting until it's too late or it's almost too late. Don't give up on yourself.
I think that's it, I don't really know what else to say so... I don't if this is what the prompt meant or not because, to be honest, I'm still a little confused about what exactly a worldview is. Probably should've done some more research but whatever. At least I wrote something!
