The Love Life List
Hey guys,
So I briefly mentioned in my "Who am I?" blog that I started a list of things I want to experience this year and I really want to tell you more about it. I'm actually incredibly proud of this list and I've already done a few things on it, for example, 'Start a Blog'. I've always wanted a blog but I was worried that no one would read it or that people would read it and say nasty things, but I shouldn't let these fears rule over me. If I want a blog I should just make a dang blog. So I did. Screw 'em.
Anyway, let's do a quick back story for this list that I've created. So when I was with that ex that I previously mentioned (in 2018) we made a bucket list of things to do for the year 2019 it had like 150 items on it, it was fricken huge. In hindsight, it was probably too much for us to accomplish in one single year but it did get us out of the house and left me with at least a couple good memories. At the beginning of this year, I was cleaning out my room, trying to declutter a bit, and I came across the journal with this bucket list in it. Most of the items on this list were for couple seeing as we were a couple, makes sense. Other items on the list were things that he wanted to do, not things that I would truly enjoy doing. So with all the nostalgia about adventures running through my body I went through and circled all the things on this list that I wanted to do and then added a whole lot more. Now I have this big long list of things just for me, things I really want to do or see or taste. Guys, I fricken love this list!
I call it the Love Life List because I was calling it my bucket list and then I told my boss all about it and she got worried. She told me that a bucket list is for things you want to do before you're scheduled to ya know, ' Kick the bucket'. Y'all she thought I was dying! So I had to reassure her that nope, I'm good, I'll still be at work. Don't worry. So she suggested I call it the 'love life list' and I think that sounds a hell of a lot prettier than a bucket list anyway. It also made it feel more like it was mine.
Now, because my brain is a very creative place, it looked at this list and said no, that just won't do. Where's the color? Where's the fun? We need to Cocofy this shit. So, that is exactly what we did. I love bullet journals, they absolutely fascinate me, I've never done one but this was the perfect excuse to start. Some of this list is written or drawn out like a bullet journal, some of it is just doodles, I love it. it's not done yet and I'm saving room for things I think of along the way. But I'm doing this for me, there's no stress, there's no one I can blame for not doing it. This is all me, for me. I'll show you a couple pictures of what I've done so you can get an idea.
There are dates for a few things because I've done those already. I got a tattoo of my cat's paw print with her name below it. She died last year and I've wanted to get it ever since but I kept making excuse after excuse and I think that maybe it's because I didn't want to really admit that she was gone. I loved that cat, I still love that cat, she was the sweetest thing I'd ever met. I got new glasses because I've had the same glasses since grade 7 and I'm 22 now, so its been a minute... I got two new pairs one for distance and one for reading and computer stuff, ya girl is blind okay. There is a lot on this list and I can't wait to share it all with you!!
